LP Stool

This stool grew out of a series of low nesting coffee tables in various sizes and woods. Adding a felt pad allowed for a bit of comfort and a splash of colour. The felt is held in place by a brass ‘tack’ which allows you to turn the felt over when company is coming or remove it entirely if that company includes messy kids. The trick in designing the tack was coming up with something that didn't feel like you were sitting on one. This series developed into the addition of the LP side table which replaces the felt with 22” of smoked glass; still held with the brass tack making it possible to change it from a stool to table and back again if desired.
