White oak, ash burl and brass

This piece was an experiment in proportion. From the towering height and scale of the legs to the careful placement of the burl band across the door, I aimed for an unusual but very pleasing composition. Exquisite wide oak and contrasting ash burl continue the calm aesthetic with the matching drawer inside as a beautiful surprise and reflection of the exterior. One of my favourite pieces.
